About me

I'm 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, divorced now for just over 6 years, I have 3 children,2 of which have flown the nest, the oldest (a lad of 22) still flits in and out but isn't here that much anymore. I'm reasonably active, with a wide range of interests like;- boats, SCUBA diving, DIY & motor cycling.
I aim to say what I mean and mean what I say, anything that I feel I have to do on a regular basis (except a relationship) tends to become a chore. I think what I’m struggling to say is I’m not obsessive about any of my interests, so if I’m looking at an aircraft for example, it’s likely to be just before it takes me to where I can holiday but you won’t find me camped outside Gatwick taking a note of their make & model numbers!!
I enjoy good company and conversation, warm holidays, BBQ’s, things that make me laugh (hopefully not just looking back on a disaster!) and making others laugh too, sunshine on my skin, a hand in mine…..this could be a long list!
I'm more of an outdoor sort and would prefer to be at a coast or in the country than sat inside. football doesn't interest me, although I can be a watcher of many things, I'm more of a doer.
I live just south of Gillingham in Kent, and have met some lovely people on here, sadly none that have had that little bit of "sparkle" to make something last, or have been free from psychological "shadows" of their past. I am free from such issues and would like to meet "that someone" who will be honest with me, to hopefully form a genuine relationship, free from “historical” ties and mind games.
Loyal and caring, tactile and romantic too!!?... well, you'll just have to wait and see!

About you

As a reasonably active person, I’m not looking for someone who is “married” to the gym but has enough self respect to look after herself and her appearance. Let’s be honest here!... I was never photogenic but I’m not going to be hunted down by Gucci to model their products either!!
I don’t expect you to train as a diver just because I enjoy it but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t take an active part in your interest, if it appealed to me…..First things first….Lets meet!
