I'm warm, generous and loyal, and I always see the best in people, which can be my downfall!

I enjoy company, and hate being lonely, although being alone occasionally is rather nice, especially after a hectic day! I'm quite a sociable person, but certainly not a whirlwind at parties.

I love travelling, especially abroad, and particularly enjoy active holidays where I can sightsee and get a flavour of the local way of life. I'd really like to visit New Zealand, and I love America.

My friends would probably describe me as determined, positive and a practical person to have around, although they'd probably also describe me as being far too tidy!

I am fond of gardening, and often wish I had more time, and a bigger garden. I also enjoy cooking for friends - very much the Galloping Gourmet meets Jamie Oliver, I cook with a glass of something in one hand, lobbing ingredients in with the other!

The most important thing in my life is my son, but I'd like someone else to share life with. I want to be part of one of those couples you see holding hands even when they're 80!

I'm looking for someone special who I can settle down with, and be part of a family. Someone to share holidays with, a bottle of wine on a summer's evening, and a home life. Someone who's interested in me, but also has his own personality and opinions. Someone with whom I can experience new things, visit new places, and who will support me through thick and thin. Someone who is decisive, and has a few old fashioned values! In return, I will be all these things for you.

You've got to be honest, considerate and genuine. Someone who likes me for who I am, and doesn't take any crap! Someone who is adventurous and innovative, occasionally unexpected and spontaneous. A family man, who cares as much for my child as he does for me. Someone with generosity of spirit - you don't have to be rolling in cash, but the right gesture means everything.
