I moved to Cambridge a few weeks ago and know very few people here, I'm here for the next 6 months and can't let this time just pass me by in such a great place. But problem is I might need a bit of help with that.

Here are a number of the important things you should know about me.

I'm quite lazy and messy. I look and feel pretty awful first thing in the morning. I like to spend time by myself, whether that be daydreaming, writing, recording, playing music, or geeking out with my friends on online games. I can go from shy and quite silent to extrovert to inane rambling fool at the drop of a hat. I spend money at a ridiculous rate, which is ironic considering my whole reason for being in Cambridge is to work and save money, I'm allergic to saving. I'm weird mix of impulsive and ridiculously laid back. If can make me full-on laugh, you'll find that my laugh is loud and can silence a room. My humour is sarcastic, dry and sometimes quite dark, it can also be quite insulting, whether directed at myself or someone else. Sometimes I will want to be around someone constantly, and sometimes I couldn't think of anything I'd want to do less. I can be brutally forthright and honest if called upon, don't expect me to shy away from harsh truths, and I expect to receive them too. I have strange music tastes, I don't like everything from one genre, but can find almost anything to like in any genre, I like me some Hard Rock and Indie though (think Muse, Coheed and Cambria-esque)

These are the points you need to know. I'm sure I have many much more redeeming qualities, but I'm not the one who should be telling you these as I'm quite biased.

I'd like to meet someone light hearted and fun first of all. I'm a big lover of music, especially seeing it live so if you're willing to accompany me to a gig or three that would be grand. I'm looking for someone that's fairly independent too, someone that has their own things they like to do and wouldn't just be willing to go along with what I like. Most of all though I would like someone who doesn't take things too seriously, and isn't afraid to make a fool out of themselves. Also likes a drink in a nice pub. This is essential.
