Well I'm 5'10", slim build, short brown hair, with brown eyes.Hey just look at the picture!

I have been divorced now for 6 months, separated for 6 years. I enjoy all the usual stuff. I read, listen to music, films, theatre etc. etc. I swim when I can but since I prefer to swim outdoors that tends to happen mostly when I am abroad. I am fairly well traveled having visited a number of European countries and America both for work and pleasure.

I'm up for most things. I try not to take life too seriously but like most people some things do matter and will get me down. I've been around long enough to know that even though the personal columns are littered with people with/looking for a GSOH, there are in fact other things that happen to matter more. Honesty, integrity and compassion for starters. Life teaches you the value of these.

I was a painfully shy child and that meant that not enough of my youth was misspent. More regrets for the things I didn't do than anything that I did. I tend to keep that in mind these days!

You know what, since writing this profile so much has happened to me! So much to challenge my preconceptions.

I don't have a fixed idea of an 'ideal woman', As you spend time with someone magic happens or it doesn't and I don't believe there is a formula. I am usually physically attracted to the slimmer woman, but apart from that, I am not hungup on race, religion, age or anything else. Other than the qualities that we all would like in a partner such as honesty and kindness, I would like to meet someone with a sense of fun and adventure. Grabbing a cheap flight heading south, hiring a car for a week or two and exploring should appeal.
