My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Love to cook and bake for friends and family. Must be at least half decent at it as I've yet to poison any of them. Particularly enjoy making cakes and other sweets.
Shopping	Neither love it or loathe it really
DIY	So long as I've got some instructions, I can build most flat-pack type furniture without too many problems.
Housework	Tad cluttery but not quite the organised chaos of my student days
Dining out	Prefer to cook at home usually but enjoy most food types when going out to dinner.
Movies	Like to watch films but there are too many to list. Like to watch action, comedy, fantasy, sci-fi genres
Theatre	Neither a "culture vulture" nor "theatre-dodger". I'll go to the theatre with someone but probably wouldn't go by myself of my own choosing.
Music	Bit of a metalhead but also enjoy classical, jazz, and soul
Gigs	Go to a couple of gigs a year
Pubs	Prefer pubs over bars, though to be honest anywhere I can get a pint of good cider and hear the people I'm talking to suits me fine.
Clubbing	Never been into a club so not sure on this one
Newspapers and magazines	If I read the paper, its The Guardian (though its not that common)
Books	Love to read. Currently working my way through Terry Pratchett's Science of Discworld series
TV	Too many shows to list for this really. Needless to say I like most of the old sit-coms and some of the newer US ones as well.
Watching sport	Like to watch rugby with my dad not much else really.
Playing sport	Not a big sportsman but do practice a martial art.
Hobbies	My earlier mentioned martial art, iaido. Have been training for 7 years now and still going strong, Helps unwind and de-stress me after a long week of study/work.
