"What a lovely man" .... .......... well, that's what I'm often told, so perhaps I am. Hard for me to say something like that, because I'm not one for blowing my own trumpet. In reality I'm quite shy and self-effacing.

I'm recently separated and seeking a special lady for friendship (or more) and to share enjoyable times.

I adore children: unless it's a teenager in the Neanderthal stage. No, seriously, I can tolerate those - just.

I enjoy the outdoors far more than the 'indoors': walking in the countryside or at the coast tops 'seated' entertainment for me.

I am affectionate and can be quite emotional - there's a very soft centre to a strong physical exterior.

My health, fitness & diet are very important to me.

A lady with who, like me, is happy simply to "be with" their "special person", enjoying each others company without having to talk! Someone with whom I can walk hand-in-hand or sit snuggled up watching the TV without a word having to be uttered.

She should be seeking genuine friendship and be open-minded about what the future has to hold. Must be honest and affectionate (assuming she does like me enough to want to be).

I like intelligent ladies, but not overly "high brow" or into "culture" in a big way.
