About me

Hi, right, this is the difficult bit! How to describe yourself well without sounding like a big head!!
Well, i would say that i am definitely a caring person, kind and considerate and very much a romantic, i like doing things for the people i care about.
I am a fairly quiet sort, i like walking, cycling, country pubs, reading, curling up with a good dvd etc, and i also have a passion for old classic cars and own four!
I spent most of my time being a single dad and brought my son up on my own, and it has been great, but hard to meet people.
I work in education and although not a millionaire, i enjoy what i do a great deal.
I have lived in Cornwall all my life, although not Cornish, its home. I love the cliffs, the scenery, and it would be great to share them with someone.
I like watching all sorts of stuff but i like sci fi and what is now called cult tv as i grew up with that. Its all good escapist fun and that suits me.
Other hobbies include being a bit practical and creative; i will try to do anything and i will usually find a way to finish once i start. I also know how to admit defeat when i need to!
I can cook and i like to cook for special people, if i ever meet any!!

About you

I am looking for friends and hopefully to meet that special person to share my life with; hopefully a kind, considerate lady who is good fun to be with. She would ideally be a non-smoker, with a good but not over the top sense of humour and like some of the same things as me.
I would like someone who is reasonably intelligent and a good chatter!
