Gillyc (41) from Merseyside

About me

Hi there, I'm a young at heart 41 year old singleton living on the Wirral which, for those of you whose geography is as crap as mine, is situated between the River Mersey and the River Dee, about mid way between Liverpool and Chester.

I was training in Liverpool as a Chartered Accountant until '93 when sadly fate had different ideas for me and I suffered a brain haemorrhage. As a consequence I have some physical difficulties in that I need a stick whilst walking outside and have lost the use in my left arm and hand, but beware, my voice hasn't been affected so I can still talk the hind leg off a donkey!! Further details will be provided to anybody interested enough to want to find out more. It was a fantastic day when I found out that it is possible to open a bottle of wine with one hand, and an even better day when I tried a box & found that's possible too! I never did qualify as a CA but I am writing a novel. I have recently completed two writing courses and now the first two chapters of my novel are now complete, hooray!

I am keen to start cycling and hopefully by the time summer srrives, I will have a Hase Kettwiesel trike (really cool ~ I was going to put a picture up for you but I'm not allowed so google it if you're that interested!) so if you see me out and about on it, don't forget to give me a wave!

I own my own home and drive also so am independent and am able to get out and about so please don't think I don't have a life because I do :o)

About you

Just somebody nice please, preferably somebody without any emotional hang-ups who isn't complicated and who is over 30 years old or who is mature for his age. Somebody who shares my passion for snogging would be a bonus!!

Also I'm crap at the long-distance thing so if you lived fairly local to Bromborough on the Wirral then that would be nice too :o)

If my physical problems are likely to become an issue, please don't waste either of our time...they are no big deal really :o)
