gillybean  female  (45) from Nottinghamshire

About me

I am 45 and single with no children - just 2 cats! I work full-time and live in Nottingham. Unusually, I can't drive, there are enough mad people on the roads already! I enjoy reading and that would be too dangerous whilst driving! I believe in living life to the full and not waiting for retirement to do something. Being single doesn't stop me from doing things.
I have a rule that I must visit one new country a year. That allows me to indulge in another of my hobbies, photography. Visiting the theatre, watching films, eating out with my friends and dancing are other hobbies. I am a belly dancer so like to visit Egypt, so I can scuba dive as well.
Although I do things on my own, it is much more fun to share things
people and that helps keep the memories alive.
My father is Polish, so I am half Polish but born in England, but I can speak Polish and my dad lives there now.
Complementary therapies interest me and I am a qualified therapist planning to start my own business soon.

About you

It would be great to make new friends, male and female. But there is always the chance that I might meet someone special to share evenings out and in. I don't think we can ever have too many friends and I'd like a special guy to be my friend first.
I would enjoy sharing opinions about plays and films and books.
