I like to laugh and smile and be happy....and want everybody to do so. I love life and want to experience as much of it as possible. Stand up for what I think is right and do not like injustices.

I am looking to socialise with people who are interested in the arts, theatre, cinema, eating out.
I enjoy walking, swimming, and outdoor sports and hope to share some of these times with friends too.
I have a dog and enjoy walking with her and would hope you could come along too.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Enjoy cooking in a relaxed manner
Shopping	Have to be in the mood for shopping although I do hate crowds, but love a bargain. Very fond of antiques and love to browse but not so keen on the smell sometimes!
DIY	Not too bad as I lived with a carpenter for 18 years and picked up a few things along the way, although room for improvement.
Housework	Try to keep house tidy but not over house proud. Expect support from my children with it as they contribute to the mayhem.
Dining out	I like to eat out sometimes more so for special occasions. I enjoy all types of food.
Movies	I enjoy going to the cinema but do find the volume difficult to handle sometimes. Have been known to wear ear plugs.
Theatre	Love the theatre especially the Mill at Sonning, the Byre Theatre in St. Andrews, Scotland and The Stables near Milton Keynes.
Music	Love all kinds of music from classical, to jazz to hip hop and pop.
Gigs	Haven't been to a gig for sometime although have been supporting a local band.
Pubs	Pubs and bars are fine, usually just for an odd drink
Clubbing	Have not been to a club in years!!!
Newspapers and magazines	I buy the Times on a Saturday for the quizzes etc.
Books	I love reading and have read more since my split with partner than I have in years. All time favourite author still is Thomas Hardy.
TV	Don't watch much T.V.
Watching sport	Enjoy sports more particiapting than watching but love to watch rugby, particularly at Murrayfield when Scotland are playing at home, great atmosphere regardless if they win or lose.
Playing sport	Used to fence but have not competed seriously for some years now. Enjoy - skiing, skating, swimming, tennis, badminton, squash would like to try some sort of dancing.
Hobbies	Love to walk especially with the dog.
