My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I enjoy cooking for those who like me and appreciate my food. I prefer Mediterranean fusion food.
Shopping	I shop only if I need something.
DIY	I can do DIY but not very keen.
Housework	I like it when it is tidy and not dusty, so have to have it done.
Dining out	I like eating out and eating in. It is the company that matters :)
Movies	Yes. I prefer chick flicks, comedies or period drama (sometimes). Nothing too serious or aggressive.
Theatre	I love theatre. Not just the plays but the entire ambience, the atmosphere - and the company.
Music	I was more into classical and jazz but my partner has expanded my musical horizons :)
Gigs	Nope... I like live chamber music though...
Pubs	I only go to pubs if we are on a walk and decide to have something to eat. I would go to a local just for the socialising or drinking. Being with my partner is my favourite pastime whatever we do :)

Newspapers and magazines	Have to read the news. But am a news junkie anyway. don't have any preferences for magazines as they are mostly about ads anyway. Sometimes read art reviews.
Books	I like reading, it is both work and pleasure.
TV	I watch quiz shows, travel or cookery programmes, but not too regularly. Get bored too quickly.
Watching sport	No, don't watch sports.
Playing sport	I go to the gym, like swimming - try to keep reasonably fit, but have never done any serious sports
Hobbies	I like walking and photography. Had other pastimes but not lately.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Alive, fit, with my current partner and see my sprogs fit and happy.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	My late grandparents and father.
My ideal date	My partner is my Mr Right.
What would I never, ever give up?	Never thought about it, can't answer.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	As above, I am not a passionate speaker.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	The 1920-30, I like the time, and the art of the time. Don't mind being back in my childhood either, when everyone whom I loved was alive.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Not a charity, but family and friends, whatever they need to keep them happy.
