Hi - I've been married once, for 26 years, and have four children ages 28 - 21. A girl and three boys, with just the youngest son at home now.
I'm not looking for a relationship, my immediate future being a little unsettled at present, with the process of the sell of the family home and financial settlement.
I'm very happily divorced, I work full-time in admin for the NHS.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Cook mainly traditional English fayre, though can be creative when inspired.
Shopping	Prefer shopping for clothes/home than grocery shopping!
DIY	When it comes to decorating/re-modifying, I am the designer! I love it. A passion for Farrow & Ball paint, and Laura Ashley furnishings.
Housework	I'm houseproud and homely, though not obsessive. I don't adhere to routine, will do the ironing and clean windows when I feel like it.
Dining out	I like to eat out whether it be a girly lunch, or an evening meal.
Movies	I think the last time I went to the cinema was to see 'V For Vendetta' with my son. His choice. Tend more to watch a DVD at home. Last one was 'Shutter Island'. Again, son's choice. Nice way for us to occasionally spend time together.
Theatre	Last time I went to the theatre was to see the musical, 'wicked'. Oh gosh, again it was my son's choice! He sent me train tickets with instructions to meet him in London, then treated me to the best Thai meal, then the show. (For my birthday).
Music	I play music to suit my mood or the occasion. I like too much to list. I don't buy heavy metal, punk, country & western.
Gigs	It doesn't appeal to me to stand in crowds, waving my arms in the air. Though I did go to see X Factor runners-up, G4. (Seated:) I don't know what came over me, but I did chase down the aisle after Jonathan Ansell. And got a kiss! I blame the impulse of the moment...
Pubs	I only go to a pub or a bar if it's after work with collegues, or, an 'occasion' such as a birthday. And usually to eat too. Not one to trawl pubs and bars with a gaggle of girls.
Clubbing	Clubbing is definately history!
Newspapers and magazines	Rarely buy newpapers or magazines. If I do it's The Times, and 'home interest'/cookery magazines. Might buy an occasional Vogue :)
Books	My all time favourite books are 'Pride And Prejudice', and, 'To Kill A Mockingbird'
TV	I enjoy dramas and documentaries. I also like 'Wire In The Blood', 'Cracker', Waking The Dead', Prime Suspect'.
Watching sport	No interest in sport at all. Rugby, football, cricket and motocross featured in my family through my childrens' participation.
Playing sport	No I don't play sports! Might be persuaded to play tennis, so long as you promise to serve the ball directly to me, and not make me run. Or I will get into an awful temper. I swim and sun-bathe for leisure, having an open air pool at the hospital where I work:)
Hobbies	Nothing strange or unique to report. Amongst other things I'm interested in reading biographies of controversial people, famous and infamous. Also, an interest in the 'Golden Age' of MGM and Warner Bros.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	On a little street in Singapore. Or on a slow boat to China. Anywhere, as long as it's with you...
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Elizabeth Taylor. Oscar Schindler. Frederick Treves.
My ideal date	Dinner somewhere cosy.
What would I never, ever give up?	Never say never!
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Temporary traffic lights.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	WW2 Britain.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Limbless soldiers.
