Hello! I'm a nice bloke, intelligent, sensitive, witty, caring, and generally daft *Grin* I am pleased that I possess the GSOH so important for "personal ads".

I have recently been widowed, so I am just looking to talk and make friends. I would like to chat with people who want to share friendship, whether or not they have experienced similar situations in their life.

I am concentrating on some quality time with my 14 year old daughter, and starting to find the good things in life again. Everyone needs friends, and everyone deserves Happiness

I love being with family, fun times with my daughter, eating out, films in the cinema or a DVD with a bottle of wine, playing with toy soldiers, staying home to cook for friends, drinking champagne, laughing, spending hours cwtching someone I love. I dont do well in clubs, I prefer country pubs with roaring fires and coffee bars with squelchy sofas. I want to travel.
Radio 4 is the soundtrack to my life. I like saying "Hello" & smiling at people I dont know on sunny mornings. I love to hear wood pigeons cooing, being by the sea, fresh food cooked with care, random acts of kindness, summer sun and crisp winter air

 

I think that the best way to make a friend is to be a friend. I love to talk and to listen, and I am interested to hear from you!

What am I looking for? Well, honesty, an open heart, an open mind and the ability to laugh at my jokes... Well maybe that is a *little* too much to ask!

But the ability to enjoy a nicely chilled glass of champagne is essential!
