I am a 54 year old lady,who has just left a long marriage.
I am a full-time catering manager,living with my sister and father.
I am a warm,loving person,and I'm very tactile and cuddly.
I am rather over weight at the moment,solely due to comfort eating over a long time,but I am determined that, that is a thing of the past.

I am looking for a new start in life,ok,I know I'm knocking on a bit,but I just want to be happy.
I would like start off by making new friends on line,just to chat and swap life experiences,and who knows where it might lead....
I would like to meet a nice gentleman,who is also tactile and loving and who likes holding hands as much as I do,someone who is interesting to talk to,without being too forthright with his opinions.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I love cooking,but I have only cooked traditional english dishes,due to fussy eaters!!!
Shopping	If I have something specific to shop for I love it,but I would rather not shop for the sake of it.
DIY	I love having a go at most DIY,and usually make a decent job of it.
Housework	Definately homely,I like a home to be lived in ,where you can feel totally relaxed. Not dirty,or cluttered,but not a show home either.
Dining out	I love to eat out,but haven't had much practice. Had a husband who refused to eat out anywhere.
Movies	I generally find most films boring,but I have a few favourites. These are Shirley Valentine,Ghost and Top Gun.
Theatre	My husband would not go to the theatre,so I must call myself a theatre-dodger. But I would love to give it a go !!!
Music	I love guitar music,acoustic or electric. and I also have a passion for 60's music.
Gigs	Again,I am not used to going to live bands,but I would love to try it.
Pubs	I can't tolerate alcohol very well,but I love socialising,given the chance.
Clubbing	I don't go clubbing.
Newspapers and magazines	My favourite newspaper is the Daily Mail,for the way they write,not for what they write,but if I find any paper lying around,I will read it.
Books	I love lots of different books,but auto-biographies are my favourite.
TV	I find soaps mind numbing, so I prefer to watch I-player where I can be more selective.I like to watch natural history and gardening programmes best,but some cookery programmes are ok.
Watching sport	I only enjoy cup finals and big match sports.
Playing sport	I don't play any sport.
Hobbies	Gardening and just being outdoors,walking,birding and strolling on the beach are my favourite past times.

If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Recycling.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Weymouth. Boring ,I know. But I just the place.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Childrens Hospices.
