Widowed 2 years ago after 30 years happy marriage. Missing everyday kindness, caring, and being cared for.
Used to the more traditional female role, but was also running my own business up until then so far from a domestic mouse! More functional than decorative, I'm afraid... but able to scrub up well if the situation demands.
Hoping that the future does not have to be as bleak as it sometimes appears, as I still have a lot to give.
No children, but like to think I'm important to the family and play a major role in the various children's lives.
Like kids, dogs (cats less so, but only because I've never learned to speak Cat), cooking and eating together, countryside, weekend breaks at nice hotels, heritage, NT, Yoga and (trying) meditation, gardens and gardening - having inherited my landscape gardener husband's.
 

Someone kind and gentle to enjoy mutual support, and offer a braking system for my over-drive! Intelligent, though not necessarily academic. Game for the occasional good-natured verbal tussle. Hopefully someone who can understand where I come from, and not seek to wipe out my past, and who would enjoy being looked after. As much someone to stay in with as someone to go out with. Basically, one of life's good guys.
Don't do any sports, but you can. Used to watching the Grand Prix to be companionable!
Anti smoking - sorry. Social drinker myself, but not in any way a pub regular.
