My hobbies and interests

Cooking	At my happiest messing around in a kitchen. Used to co-own a bar/restaurant in Spain. Italian, French, Indian will cook it all :)
Shopping	Not a great lover of shopping unless its real girly girly.
DIY	Can manage most things from painting and decorating to layimg laminate flooring (I had to learn cos no one else was gonna do it!)
Housework	Loathe hoousework with a passion.
Dining out	Any good restaurant where the ambiemce matches the food. Keep meaning to try Heston Blumenthal's 'taster menu' when i get rich enough :)
Movies	Only go to the cinema of its a film that really grabs my fancy. Quite like Bollywood movies (yeah i know). Fave films of recent times Slumdog Millionaire and Ghajini
Theatre	Love theatre, especially musical extravaganza's. Saw Phantom of the Opera 6 times and would happily see it 6 more. Also seen Cirque de Soleil several times.
Music	Love all music with the exception of real Country & Western (though i can cope with more mainstream C&W). Fave bands Muse and Placebo. Fave tracks Nothing Else Matters and the Unforgiven by Metallica.
Gigs	Love live music, been to many Glastonbury and Reading festivals. Last gigs were Muse at Wembley and Placebo at 02
Pubs	Not really into pubs unless its by the river on a warm summer day.
Clubbing	Still go clubbing occasionally. Best parties ever were the Boar Parties on the Thames - hardhouse, trance and floating down the river - what more could one ask :)
Newspapers and magazines	Nope have no interest in reading doom and gloom or celeb gossip.
Books	Love to read when i get the chance (usually on planes or on holiday). Devoured the Twilight Saga now reading Girl with the dragon tattoo
TV	Will watch the sport or if i have nothing else to do. Like documentaries and the occasional I'm a celeb.
Watching sport	T20 ODI Arsenal Tennis - but an armchair sports person
Playing sport	I keep promising myself i will get back to the gym, thats about as sporting as it gets at the mo.
Hobbies	People watching, usually over a tall glass of latte

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Settled, happy living somewhere warm and sunny :)
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	David Cameron, Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg - we might end the evening with a parliament that works for the country lol.
My ideal date	I dont have any preconceptions - surprise me
What would I never, ever give up?	I'm not materialistic and I dont think there is anything that I wouldnt give up under the right circumstances.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	People and how they interact
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	India at the time of the Raj (would actually happily live there now too). Its an exotic land full of colour and life and people that know how to smile.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	One that took care of people going through difficult situations - children, homeless, substance abusers etc
