I am happy, positive, warm, easy-going, assertive, selective, straight-forward,respectful of others, sensitive to people’s feelings, and highly diplomatic. Im a retired Electrical Engineer Widower of some 4 years after losing my wife of 33years to the big C .
I take constructive and calm approach to conflict resolution. I don’t let emotions get on the way of problem resolution. I have high capacity for deep compassion; I am just not into drama. I get excited about new ideas and don’t procrastinate. I get along well with people who have the same mindset.I don't suffer fools have a variety or interests .Photography , home cooking ,Gardening ,Computers long walks in the countryside or the beach ,cosy nights in and many more varied interests . and while I don’t expect my partner to always pick up on my interests, I like to be able to continue doing those things either with or without her . I don’t smother people, and I expect the same courtesy in return.
When someone says they are going to do something, I take their promise for its face value, but if it doesn’t get done, I won’t nag, I’ll do it myself. I am independent in every way, but when I find myself doing everything for everybody all the time, I lose passion. I find it to be extremely important to have a true companionship where no one feels taken advantage of. Don’t take it as if I keep score or put a price tag on things though. I truly think that the biggest value that a man can contribute in a relationship is the understanding, inspiration, encouragement and emotional support.
