I was born in the UK, grew up in Africa, and have lived in Australia for the last 15 years, have dual nationality, although would now consider myself a Skippy.

Warm, funny, friendly. Can be a bit sarcastic, but don't bite (hard) or unless invited. Well travelled, have lived in UK, Africa & Australia. Bit overweight, but still sexy beast. Dark brown hair, blue eyes, big grin. New to this, but guess it beats standing naked on a roundabout, wearing a sandwich board, and yelling "Pick me"! :O)

Like: Big goofy dogs, walks in the park, amusing people, lazy sundays with the papers, mad spontaneous days out, the odd drink on a hot day.

Left a good corporate job in Sydney about 5 years ago to travel the world for a couple of years, and figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. Haven't quite figured it out yet, but I'm having a lot of fun trying! I'm going to be here for at least the next few months, maybe longer, so thought I'd give this a try. As I can't even promise which continent I'll be on by next year, I'm not necessarily looking to settle down in the next few weeks! At worst, I'll hopefully meet some great new friends, but will cling to the hope of a soulmate appearing.

 

Someone who's funny, friendly, fairly intelligent and outgoing. As at home in the local pub as they are at a black tie event or a museum or gallery. Someone with a life of their own, and not possessive or clingy. Not obsessed with football, cars, bank balance etc etc - although don't mind watching a game of rugby or ice hockey.

If you're over about 50, very fixed in your thinking, looking for a new mother for your 10 kids, just looking for a bonk (try a bar) or looking for barbie or one of her cousins, then I'd save yourself the trouble of an e:mail, as you probably won't like me much! :O)
