My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Love cooking anything on the hob or in a wok. Paella de carne is my favourite.
Shopping	Love the process and the interaction and the end product but don't just do it for fun, Would rather save the money for something important or unexpected.
DIY	Brilliant with tools and DIY ideas.
Housework	Housework probably wouldn't kill me but I'm not going to take the risk.
Dining out	Spanish/Tapas, Curries.
Movies	I don't think films are made with me in mind. Don't go very often. Prefer to watch them on TV. If they only work on the big screen then they can't be that good a film can they?

Music	I write my own. I like it better than most of what's in the charts.
Gigs	Again, very few bands who really excite me and very few who appear to be able to perform live.
Pubs	Will go to a pub with friends for a few drinks and/or a pub quiz.

Hobbies	Photography and Flying, playing piano, pub quizzes, driving my car, talking listening with interesting people.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	An unknown but prolific songwriter with many number one hits and complete anonimity.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Patrick Head, Michael Maloney and Howard Jones (Hmmm, they're all men) Ok, Dr Alice Roberts, Eve Matheson and Howard Jones
My ideal date	Just the two of us, perfect food and drink, "house on fire" jokes and conversation followed by us both eagerly anticipating the next date.
What would I never, ever give up?	Wow, never thought about this one before. I gave up virtually everything once. Maybe drinking tea because I'm probably addicted.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Mathematics and why it's important to be able to add up and know your times tables.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Florida July 1969 - go figure.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	A cats' home. Seriously? Why can I only give it to one? Medical research, cancer, McMillan nurses, the homeless...
