Filmfun    (41) from the Isle of Man

Y’know, it’s tricky writing one of these profiles, isn’t it? Almost like writing a speech. You have 3 minutes to encapsulate everything you want to say ( try not to use words like ‘encapsulate ‘ in it, never was a punch line in speeches) try not to make it too cheesy or it’ll sound like a Mills and Boon pitch, don’t put too much spin or before you can say election, you’ll be in working in politics (eeek) and above all, try and be true to what it says on the tin.

As to my tin? As you might have guessed, it can be pretty quirky. Contents are in their 30’s, 6ft tall, have a very young outlook on life, and yes, I admit, a oddball sense of humour. That’s what you get growing up on British
Comedy – Monty Python has much to answer for! In fact British film and tv
has a lot to answer for as it’s to blame for where I am now – working on film and television productions that visit the Isle of Man, where I’m based.

When I’m off duty I like to catch up with friends, hit a few restaurants, see the latest flicks, or perch on a bar stool, shoot the breeze and put the world to rights. Talking of the world, I love traveling and do it whenever I can. My photo shows me smiling onthe slopes of Pennsylvania, just before playing on a a snow tube.

You’ll also find me doing cosy stuff - curling up with a good bottle of wine, and hitting the Tv remote. It’s not bad at the mo – ‘The Simpsons’ never fails, the new ‘Doctor Who’ makes me 12 again, love a good comedy or action flick. I’ve also just finished ‘The Da Vinci Code’, couldn’t put it down. If I fancy a scare, James Herbert does the goods, and I also like checking into Hogwarts to see what Harry Potter’s up to.

Anyway, 3 minutes are up – hope you liked what you read on the tin.
