Having been in a serious relationsips for 13 years (married for nearly 7 - talk about an itch!) I separated from my husband over 2 years ago and the divorce is nearly through (let me know if you want to come to the party!) I'm now living in a fantastic apartment in Belfast with a mad friend and two equally mental cats and thoroughly enjoying the single life. My background and qualifications are in catering management (so yes - I can cook!) but after a couple of different jobs I came to my senses and joined a graduate prgramme in the Northern Ireland Civil Service about 7 years ago. That's still going well and allows me lots of flexibility for all the things that are more important in life than working. For the future I plan to have fun, fun and some more fun, I feel like I missed out on a lot of things from being in a serious relationship for so long. I like pubs and clubs, music, films, theater, latin dance, discovering all the great things going on in Belfast and joining in. I enjoy reading frankly trashy novels and the odd good biography as well as hanging out with friends and going shopping (I'm not ashamed!)Music wise, I'm pretty easy to please as long as it's not too heavy, although I have recently re-discovered a formerly supressed rock chick side of me.
I've lost contact with quite a few friends since I moved house and I'd really like to meet some new people who enjoy the same things I do. I'd love a dance partner, so if you enjoy latin dancing (salsa etc)or think you'd like to try it and you've no-one to dance with, please let me know. I'd quite like some male friends to hang around with, maybe go to the cinema or out for dinner and if something more developed then that would be fine.
