I am a married man (get it in the open at the start) who is in a boring marriage and has never done anything like this before - so you regulars be gentle with me lol.
I think that I am a good person who has always tried to do the right thing.
Anyway who what where am I? does anyone know because I am sure I don't lol.
I am Gary, I was born in Manchester and have lived in Portsmouth, Chatham, Plymouth, Romford and now live in sunny Shoeburyness on the end of the River Thames.
I spent many years in the Royal Navy and was a Chief Petty Officer in Marine Engineering.
I have served on several ships including HMS Phoebe which those of a certain age will recognise as HMS Hero in the old TV series Warship.
I am now a Manager of engineers in manufacturing

What am I looking for - that is a difficult one.
Firstly I am not looking for a new partner, with all her faults I will remain with my wife.
What am I looking for well - I am looking for a liberated woman who would like to meet from time to time for mutual pleasurable exploration - trying all those things that both they and i don't get from our working relationships.
I would like to walk in the country and talk about all those taboo subjects I cannot talk about at home.
I want to be free for a little time every so often to discuss anything from politics to sex to whatever and enjoy your company.
I want to lie on my back in the sun with a friend at my side and just enjoy any time we have by ourselves.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I dabble in a bit of everything from baking to Indian and Chinese.
Shopping	I do it as a necessary thing but walking around shops buying nothing is tedious and boring - I do most of my shopping including clothes online
DIY	My house is a show home I can put my hand to just about anything
Housework	I am okay but not an OCD crazed cleaner
Dining out	I like Pub meals, Chinese, Indian, Italian, sea food, steaks, have I missed any out probably but I will try most things once or even twice before I declare it unfit for Gary consumption
Movies	I love Films Favourite Film Blade Runner as this is the film I watch more than any other - I wouldn't have picked it a few years but the amount of times I watch it proves that this is the one - It's the atmosphere and the Vangelis soundtrack that clinches it
Theatre	My mother is an actress and still treads the boards at 73 albeit a little slower. I was brought up with musicals and plays and even performed in some as well as the family pet who appeared whenever a spaniel was required. yes I love theatre.
Music	I love most music if I am in the mood for it with exception of Punk, Rap etc. I love classical to heavy metal and everything in between. Favourites - Queen, Genesis, Yes, Vangelis, Madness
Gigs	I like to enjoy music at home although I have been to quite a few concerts in the past. I use music as an accompaniment to things I do such as walking or reading or whilst I am on the computer.
Pubs	I like to sit outside a pub quaffing a frothy brew on a warm summers day. Other than that I rarely go in pubs unless there is some good food available
Clubbing	No, No, NO done it seen it NO not anymore
Newspapers and magazines	I don't tend to read papers very often
Books	I eat books, I read in the bath, I read on the loo, I read in the shade on a sunny afternoon. I love books as they take you into other worlds where fantasy can take over. I love so many books that they are old friends and do not want to pick between them.
TV	I tend to be quite picky about what I watch. I guess that my main genres are science fact, people stories, and science Fiction.
Watching sport	I love watching any football except England who always manage to disappoint. Motor-sport, Skiing, Rugby
Playing sport	Walking and swimming are the only sports I participate in these days but in the past I remember fondly doing white water racing, slalom, long distance canoeing, Parachuting, Gliding, Rugby, Football, Cricket etc
Hobbies	I am delving into the possibility of going to live in France as a great adventure - traveling around until I find that perfect spot to put my roots down into.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	In France with my own acre and a swimming pool enjoying a glass of cold beer on a hot day
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Michael Parkinson, Billy Connolly and you. I know we would be in tears by the end of the meal
My ideal date	A quiet walk and a talk followed by a drink in a nice pub and then hot passionate lovemaking followed by gently drifting off to sleep in each others arms
What would I never, ever give up?	a difficult question, I guess the answer must be the quest for happiness as that at the end of the day is what we all strive for and only sometimes get it right.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	I guess it would be about cooperation between people to sort out the big problems without going all defensive and political. Population, Global warming, hatred between people, the lack of trust anywhere, the divisiveness of religion etc.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I am living in that time - the explosion in our knowledge, the technological advances, if we can only work together and focus I think that the galaxy could be ours to populate.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Help for Heroes - I am an ex serviceman who has a son in the Army now and understand the sacrifices that are being made by our boys and girls and they need all the support they can get when they come back badly injured
My "and finally" section ...	I hope to be honest, the type of person I am looking for would be one in a similar position to myself in a long term relationship but needing a friend as a relief valve for pent up frustrations and to provide some mutual excitement and enjoyment in each others company. I know that you are out there I have just got to find you.
