I am always on the go, intelligent but not intellectual, love the countryside, the sea and animals. My pastimes include gardening, crosswords and reading (rarely fiction). I have recently taken up metal detecting and am now secretary/treasurer of the local club.I have lived abroad and would like to do so again - in the sun, but have decided that the Isle of Wight is far enough to go on my own. I am almost self-sufficient in food as I have an allotment.
A gardener and handyman who can turn his hand to almost anything, as I can. Someone who is fun loving with a good sense of humour, not taking life too seriously. Must love animals, especially cats.
