Eternally optimistic (53) from Merseyside

I have just turned the big 5 0 but still consider myself young at heart. I am 5’10”, slim build, blue eyes with short dark/grey hair … or salt and pepper, depending on the light! My interests are many and varied…keen, but not obsessive, about health and fitness (walking, cycling, golf, gym, healthy eating)…I love wining and dining (Indian, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Greek, English). I have a diverse taste in music…pop, classical, rock, dance, R&B, some folk, some World, even some C&W. Aarrgghh! I love travel, whether that be days out, weekends away or foreign holidays, I try to get away twice a year and have a weakness for the Greek islands but enjoy other destinations too. The Lake District is great. I like a movie with a good storyline/plot, good theatre, and concerts. I also do voluntary work that occupies 3-4 hours a week. Personality wise, I like to think I’m very honest, considerate, easy going and tolerant…with of course the obligatory great sense of humour! I don’t mind shopping either! especially for clothes and food. Anyhow, enough of me, what about you?

My ideal woman would be attractive (to me), honest, great fun to be with, intelligent, loving, loyal, have good dress sense, and be romantic and willing to work hard at building a genuine relationship.
