Hi, thanks for stopping by.... how on earth do you introduce yourself, without sounding like either a desperate man or something out of a Mills and Boon novel? I can think of lots of words my friends would use to describe me, funny, thoughtful, mad, compassionate, confident are the only ones I can publish!!! I am a very positive person who believes that everything in life happens for a reason good or bad. Honesty is very important to me and, although happy enough to be on my own, I would love someone to share my life with. I love my family, friends, laughing, holding hands, candle lit dinners, trying new things, theatre, country walks, cinema, swimming and badminton. I know when to give someone a hug without being asked and can easily share my feelings (that bit took some practice at first!) I have even been trained not to pick my toenails and to put the loo seat down when I have finished!! Some more of my likes.... My children, life, sunshine, travel, kissing, friends, chocolate from the fridge, overdue get-togethers, walking barefoot on the grass, great nights out/in, paddling, picnics, bacon sandwiches, bonfires, buskers, beach sunsets, cuddling without a word, glass half full, comfortable silence, teaching, the smell after the rain, Thai food, pancakes, honey, cheese on toast, kindness, laughing, waterfalls … the list goes on.  

I am looking for someone with a warm and open personality and with similar values to my own; someone who is confident, spontaneous, compassionate, comfortable with who they are and appreciates that, although time and effort have to be invested in a succesful relationship, it's got to be fun!
