I am 51; I have always lived in Reading. I went to a grammar school but I did not go to university. I left school and became a computer programmer. I did this for 18 years before working at a school running the computer network.

After working there for 10 years I became a driving instructor. Now I am a courier driver delivering good around the country.

I used to be a swimming coach I had done this for over 30 years. I used to swim competitively myself. I also used to coach and play water polo.

I am very serious about music; it could have been my career. I love concerts and go when I can. I like all music but especially classic rock, jazz, blues, reggae and classical. I also love musicals.

I belong to several wildlife charities. I am not very active because of all the other things I do. I am also a member of Amnesty.
 

I am looking someone who both likes sports and music. She must be intelligent and be able to talk about most subjects. Looks do not matter but she must not be a smoker. She must have a good sense of humour, preferably a strange sense of humour like me! She must also like going out to the theatre and cinema
