Hi and thanks for taking time out to read my profile
I know we all say we hate these sites and yes I agree it's not the best way of finding a partner.
Saying that what else is there for us oldies
Never one for giving up though.

Another thing is do we try hard enough on these sites?

Does that mean I will remain here forever
I am not the type of guy that wants to take over your life, maybe enhance it.
I already have most of what I need in life.
Just looking to share what we both have to make our lives complete.

Most of the normal things in life make me happy.
I can hold my own at the company dinner and dance or at the local car boot sale.

like to get out as much as possible though.
Not a tele addict.

I like to spend weekends away or at home gardening/DIY

If you are a possessive person i don't think we would get on as we are all free spirits.
I understand we all have a life relationships are a sharing thing not an ownership.
Saying that though I am a one woman man.
Solvent with own house good job and no hang ups/baggage/or ex's in the background.
I can do my own Ironing/washing/cooking and housework.

Not a weirdo or a time waster but also not in any hurry as I have a happy life.
Do miss that special person in my life and those cuddles though.

If you live a long ways off then not impossible but a lot harder so you would have to be committed to things taking longer than if you lived just round the corner.

I live in Hertfordshire work in London most of the time but do like to travel up to Yorkshire.
I do intend to relocate once more in my life (Where to who knows)
