I love to travel, though it is not so much fun alone. I like to try the local food. On the topic of food, I do love good wine and good food and I enjoy Greek, Indian, Italian & Chinese food (and many others).

I like to talk, having a good debate on an interesting topic is one of the more interesting indoor games. Though there are others.....

By choice I will never watch soaps & sport or go to discos, but I will watch drama, sci-fi and good films and go to the theatre. If someone I am with wants to watch sports or soaps this is not a problem, I can lose myself in a book.

When at home I read a lot, almost any topic (except romance novels), do crossword puzzles and chat on my PC. I also enjoy socializing and the company of family and friends.

I think I have a good sense of humour, though I prefer wit to slapstick.

I don't like noisy clubs, violent sports, bad manners or rude people.

A walk in the countyside, a meal and a bottle of wine, a night in by the fire, so many good things are better shared.

This is difficult to put into words. I am looking for a friend, a partner in life. Someone I can have intelligent conversations with, and fall in love with. Someone caring, yet strong minded, to share life’s ups and downs.

If I can't find all of that a chat with a mate will do nicely, lol
