Hi! I'm a 'resting' Singer/Keyboard Player and Rythm Guitarist. I have been in Bands from being 17, and have a small Home Recording Studio, which I am using at present with my 500 plus Backing Tracks. I also write Songs and have done some Studio Recording in the past.

I don't believe that age is a barrier to making music - or anything else.

I also write as a Freelance for Magazines and Newspapers - The Sunday Times mainly, when anything comes up, but am suffering from a bit of a block right now. Need a kick up the butt to get the Batteries recharged!

I live on my own - apart from my shaggy mutt - Brody.

eBay is a big hobby of mine - Selling more than Buying. It helps when work is scarce!

I like Music of all Genres - Elton and Robbie, Il Divo, G4, Bette Midler, Mary Black, Katherine Jenkins, Leona Lewis, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Queen, Abba, Country, and Gospel - anything really from the 50's to present day. I also like Blues, Soul, and Show music.

Other interests are writing, swimming, Dancing, nights/days out, walks on the beach or in the woods and hills/parks with my Dog. (A romantic companion would complete this!) I like reading, the computer, cosy nights in/out and interesting conversation. I like some T.V. Programmes but am not a Telly or Soap Addict, but I really do like good Films and Debates.

I respect others views, but can be quite right-wing about Politics! I am a Patriot and love my Country - despite its present state. I need a strong man who can put me in my place from time to time, but not a Dictator!

I believe all relationships should be on a 50/50 basis all the way down the line - sharing everything is very important. I am very independent - having been divorced for many years now, but am affectionate, tactile, have a very dry humour, and can be incredibly romantic and passionate with the right Guy.

I hate dishonesty in a person and cannot stand cruelty to anyone - be they children, animals or grown-ups. I have strong opinions but will always listen to another's point of view - and respect it. I do not like insincere people and fair-weather friends. I am just looking for someone who is sharing, romantic, caring, funny and genuine.

I have 2 wonderful Sons who have their own homes. The youngest is married with a beautiful 3 year-old daughter and gorgeous 2 year-old Son. The Eldest is married with a beautiful one year-old Daughter. My Daughters-in-Law are lovely girls, and I consider myself blessed.

If you can cope with all this, please give me a try. I don't bite - well, not often! Nor does my Dog - providing you're an OK Guy that is. He would welcome a nice hairy friend of the female variety - despite being 11 years old! He gets on with other Animals very well.

I have lots of friends, but would like to meet that special someone with the X-Factor! If you're him - please drop me a line!

I would like to meet people who are interested in the same kind of things I am, but also would like to hear about other interests of theirs too.

I don't mind smokers if it is in moderation. I stopped 3 years ago - but am not down on people because they smoke!

Obviously, my ideal Soulmate would have to be an Animal Lover, as I find I have no compatibility with people who don't like Animals.

I'm looking for Honesty, Integrity, Intelligence, Humour, Passion and good conversation. Also, Companionship, Friendship....... and Romance hopefully!

I think that being able to give and receive love........ and happiness.... are the most important things in life. Also, my Mum always taught me to never say a bad word about anyone, when you can say a good one!

There isn't really an Age preference, but I suppose 45 - 65 is a good start.
