Well this is me, it may seem that I lead a small life but it is a worthy one, or so I hope. I am mum to twin 6 1/2 year old boys, we are owned by a very superior cat and as a Guide Dog puppy walker we are constantly chewed on by an Andrex double. So the adage never work with animals and children can be kindly disregarded. I aim for Nigella in a domestic goddess kind of way but I am more like I Love Lucy, minus the Cuban bandleader and crazy antics. Actually...
At the moment I am slogging my way through my degree with the Open University, after a lifetime of working in jobs rather than having a career I finally decided to do what I wanted and see where it takes me. I study history and literature, not as dusty and stodgy as you might think I promise. I do have a passion for reading; the history I find by visiting museums and in days out and about; I adore travel and wish I could do more of it, especially around Europe; I love films but now it is more dvd and whats on tv rather than going to the cinema, unless it is a pg or u of course; I am trying to get fit again with use of a wiifit as I am too scared to take my bike out! I should also state now that I like to cross-stitch, like some people enjoy fishing, it doesn't mean I am ready for retirement or anything!

Lord but this is turning into a mess. Someone who knows who they are without being arrogant about it. Someone genuine. Someone who doesn't pick holes in others without realising they are not perfect. Someone with humour and imagination. How is that for starters.
