Ready to take on all the opportunities that this life has to offer. I am lively and energetic but also can be laid back and relaxed, I don't waste my time on negative influences, keep away from the bad enjoy the good. Now the kids have grown and flown I am ready for a new phase I am a cheerful, optimistic, energetic person with a zest for life and all the woderful,things it has to offer, it is up to us if we want to take the opportunities that exist.

I have lived alone for a number of years now and I am just going through divorce proceedings, this is quite amicable so noemotional baggage, I am now looking forward to the next phase of my life.

Although I am considered an achiever by friends and colleagues I also can be quite laid back in other aspects of my life. I am comfortable in my own skin, although I own a nice house and garden I am not attracted by the material things in life, (I am not chasing a pot of gold).
My friends tell me I am considerate, trustworthy, loyal, sensitive, honest and have a keen sense of humour (am I really that good). I am hopeful of a bit more travel - long weekends in European cities and to develop my other pastime of songwriting, I also spend some time performing music, mainly Irish. I am concerned about the abuse of this planet we live on particularly for the needs of big businesses. I believe any relationship has to be based on trust, loyalty and respect. I do not think it essential to share all of each others interests, I believe time and personal space is important for both sides of the relationship. If I don't sound like your cup of tea or faitraid coffee then the best of luck to you but the sales don't last forever so what are you waiting for!!

I am looking for a long term relationship eventualy, there are obviously a number of stages to go through to get to that. So sharing of interests where appropraite, getting to know someone, and taking it from there. Fairly laid back socially, music and and some day trips, weekends would be good a good match with me.
I keep away from loud, aggressive people, I like intellectual stimulas, experiencing new things and lots of laughs.
