About me

I returned to the uk with my husband & kids this summer after living in Dubai for 3 years,I must say is was very different, the oppurtunity to meet other nationalitys was amazing but getting to grips with the culture was a challenge.

Whilst in Dubai, I rescued 3 cats who are now here in the uk... Im very passionate about my furbabies.

As for me Im not brains of Britian, but completed my education! Im not the political type, nor am I religious,I would say that Im easy going and down to earth with a pretty good sense of humour and do prefer the company of like minded ppl.
Before I moved abroad I worked as a community carer and would love to work now that Im back in the uk but with two children thats not possible, not even part time... besides being a full time housewife and mum is more than enough and has its own rewards for the time being .
I do enjoy meeting new ppl from all walks of life,gardening but Im no Charlie Dimmock, writing,& reading - When its quiet you will find me with nose stuck in a horror book, coffee and chats, being a home maker and my family amoung other things.
Sad as it may seem I enjoy the 50,60,70 and 80's and good ole country and western and have been known to listen to the Celine Dion, Shania Twian, Bryan Adams and James Blunt.At the moment I have enjoyed TV Shows such as 24, Millenium, and more recently 2000 acres of sky adn find them completely addictive.I love any kind of thrillers including The Messiah. Nature and factual documentaries.
Im an avid Dean Koontz reader at present... Exellent writer with outstanding imagination.
Im not one for following fashion, I prefer my jeans / sneakers for comfort.

About you

I enjoy the company of those that are easy going like myself, and have a sense of humour, , with or without kids, and status is not important either! I take ppl as I find them, its whats on the inside that matters most. Its my hope that throu this site I can make some new friends, either in person or via snail/Email.
