I think we are mostly the same and it doesn't matter so much what we do but how we do it. I like the little things. Subtle conversations, fun, playing, smelling the flowers, the wind, the sea, nature, people, making love ..

I've been lucky and done a lot of stuff and still do - bit of a recovering rebel, but that isn't important. I've been an academic for 25 years, now I travel the world working as a consultant in Accessibility of Learning Technology - full of politics, education and technology. Fun and worthwhile. My aims are to survive, do what I can, learn and have fun. I love working. I love not working too.

My children are 20 and 17 and until recently lived alternate weeks with me, so what with the travel and all life has been really busy but also sometimes lonely - its nice to share moments and feelings with someone. Seeking someone similar but different. Sameness is boring. Someone who's heart can soar. Love for life essential. If you can see my heart and reveal yours it might be fun to talk.

I'm a nutcase for cycling, as the pictures show. I'm also adventurous and love travel and experiencing cultures and wild places. I'd love to find someone who also loves that.

Some things have to be experienced alone. Some things together. I need both. For example, travelling alone and travelling with someone is a completely different experience. So I seek someone with whom I can be emotionally intimate and share experiences but also be myself and for them to be their own self as well.

Seeking soulmate. Someone with whom I can feel and talk and think and laugh and be free. Someone with whom I can enjoy the little things in life and the best things in life. Someone I can be apart from and yet still be together in spirit. Someone flawed. Imperfection contains beauty. Being imperfect is to be human. Accepting that and growing is to enjoy it.
