Hi. I'm relatively new to the area so looking for some new friends nearer to home. Self-confessed film geek and something of an armchair philosopher, so interested in chewing the cud on pretty much any subject. Films, current affairs, reality telly, spirituality, is Victoria Beckham just misunderstood?... all welcome.

I'm also into music and have quite varied tastes from Stevie Wonder and The Beach Boys to Rufus Wainright and Arcade Fire. Definitely not a music snob but if you're into Genesis and that ilk it's possibly best to stroll past my profile. :)

I also like to let my hair down but for a once-committed party animal/90s survivor, it now takes me 2 days to recover. I'll have a damn good go, however.

I'm cheerful, chatty, thoughtful, and - hopefully - interesting enough company.
