Friends call me wacky, eccentric and mad. I just regard myself as living life in the fast lane, we only get one go at this life.

I enjoy music such as the blues, especially the sounds of the harmonica and saxophone. I also take pleasure in reggae, rap, jazz, soul, salsa and more. Enjoyed seeing the Bootleg Beatles at the Hammersmith Apollo. I enjoy theatre, drama, classics and some musicals, also attend fringe events. Recently seen Noises Off, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and A Round Heeled Woman.

Property styles interest me so I like to visit historic buildings and see different architectural designs. London has such a lot to offer and I try to make the most of what's going on by attending London walks, including those held by Blue Badge, National Trust, English Heritage and SPAB.

I try to travel at least eight weeks a year - 2011 A couple of separate weeks in Northern Cyprus, six days in Marrakech, three weeks in USA - Las Vegas, Hollywood, Florida and New Orleans, 10 days cruising the River Hoolgly in India, 2 weeks Voluntary work in Umbria, a few days in Hastings, 2 weeks touring Central India and Christmas in Exmoor. 2012 a Classical Tour of Cuba, working holiday Spanish mountains and family time afterwards near Malaga, a short holiday in Northern Cyprus, Volunteer Vindolanda archaeological dig and time exploring Northumberland, Alaska tour and this is the first six months of the year.

I enjoy lectures, educated to Masters level so enjoy a good debate. Have little time for television, so much happening in London.

Do some voluntary work for the National Trust. I do work but freelance, so I can play hard to my convenience.

As you can see I am quite eclectic, am divorced with no children, a non smoker - find out the rest for yourself.

A friend, companion, soul-mate, lover who makes me laugh. Must be intelligent, with a kind heart. A flexible person, open to new ideas and experimenting, makes last minute fun decisions, e.g. flying abroad suddenly. Someone with sparkle who can spoil me! Perhaps we can build our dream home/homes in the UK and/or abroad, thinking of a Riad in Marrakech. The world is our oyster so lets enjoy life together.
