I'm a solvent, optimistic and generally cheerful person with three adult daughters and a circle of good friends, living in North Cheshire quite close to the Derbyshire border.

I work as an airline IT support engineer at Manchester Airport and in my leisure time enjoy travelling, rock concerts, music, reading and exploring the surrounding countryside.

I enjoy spending time with my daughters and friends, but it would be nice to meet someone to share experiences with and hopefully have a few laughs along the way!

As I see no point in being less than honest, I DO smoke occasionally, although I never smoke in the company of non-smokers and can quite happily survive several hours at a time without a fix. However if you have now stopped reading then I quite understand! 

A fairly down-to-earth person to spend some time with, and who may be interested in some mutual cheering-up!
