Fun, friendly, affectionate and sometimes feisty, I have a good sense of the ridiculous and enjoy lively repartee and intelligent discussion. I love the Arts, I teach and practice art and love it but I love music, drama and dance as much. I have travelled widely and sailed the oceans blue. I swim like a fish and enjoy a game of tennis. I have a young son who is, of course, a delight and is keeping me young and in a kind of time warp! I'll be working for ever, no retirement for me!

I have added the above in solidarity for all of us who have some experience of this incidious disease be it direct or indirect.

I'd love to make a friend who shares at least some of my interests and has time to enjoy them with me. I am not looking for a father for my son, he has a good relationship with his own Dad and sees him frequently! I would expect a new friend to be a non smoker but to enjoy the finer things in life...good food, good wine and the elements. No couch potato for me nor an action man though quite fit would be nice!! Intelligent and well educated, still curious about the world rather than cynical...someone who cares. Riches? smart car? big house? I'm not impressed by such things! What goes on inside is more important and a liveliness in the face...smiley eyes!!
