Am a BOAC VC10/BA Boeing Jet Captain and Flying Instructor.I'm a Welshman. My grandfather was a First Class Driver on the Flying Scotsman steam locomotive. In my picture you can see the groove in my head where I was shot by a terrorist during the attempted hijacking of a BOAC Super VC10 on a flight from London to Nairobi on my birthday in 1970. Unfortunately, he picked on the wrong man. I had been trained by the Israeli Mossad to deal with just such a situation, and I was able to overpower and"neutralise" him. I was awarded a Royal Commendation. I am a tall,slim, athletic, broadshouldered, non smoker.Amateur musician and crossword puzzler. Am interested in boats and vintage cars and am a keen campervanner.I've never been ill in my life and don't intend to be.I hate television. I am drawn inexorably to the countryside and the coast.Am an Honorary Life Member of a well known Cambridge College.My new field is as an Independent Consultant in Sport Science.I have a home near the Old Vicarage Grantchester and another near Haydock Park in Lancashire.Am supportive, non-judgemental. The principal point of interest about me, however, is none of this.It is the leather jacket that John Lennon gave to me when the Beatles appeared at the Queens Hall Leeds on 28 June 1963. If we become friends, I'll let you wear it.I will relocate anywhere, worldwide, for the right woman. We have here a golden opportunity to forge a definitive, final and "Forever" union.
