I am 6ft 2", with long brown hair, brown eyes and a beard. I'm in good shape, although I could be fitter than I am. I enjoy good company and prefer meeting people one to one, rather than in large groups. I do not belong to any weird sects or organisations , and most of my opinions about things fall within the ranges defined as "normal".
I have a good sense of humour. I am honest, tactile and gentle by nature. I am in my mid forties, divorced and over it. I now believe that life begins when you're forty. I have two children and I am close to them.
My background includes working as a marine scientist and as a commerical fishing skipper, although I now work in environmental law enforcement. I am well educated and my hobbies include competitive sailing, hillwalking, music (mostly off the beaten track kind),
good books and food.
