I'm Chris, and I live just north of Peterborough.

My hobbies include reading, cinema/theatre and dining out - and also dining in; I am a quite decent cook, have spent a couple of holiday on cookery courses in Devon!

I'm currently trying to lose some weight and get a bit fitter, so I've started walking again - nothing particularly strenuous at this stage, I am working on the principle that doing a little every day is better than doing a lot once a month and getting fed up with it. So if you'd like to join me for a stroll around Nene Park, or somewhere similar, drop me a line.

Another hobby I have revived from my mispent youth is playing boardgames - everything from quite complex strategy games to fun games you can play with a few friends and socialise.

One of my great loves is music - I sing, and play acoustic guitar, piano and drums, writing a lot of my own material. However, I have no illusions of ever appearing on the X-Factor - so by day, I work as a computer consultant, mostly based from home, but occasionally travelling in the UK and Europe.

I'm looking to meet people to hang out with, and socialise.

I wouldn't run if a little romance came along sometime, but I tend to believe that love is something best grown from friendship.
