Well, This is word bite of me. I'm 5'10", 12st, (old money!) brown eyes and hair, Mediterranean type completion. I don’t have a hairy back, ears or nose but it does grow on my head and chest! Professional, solvent, own house. I ski, ride, Shoot (clays) all badly, no beer belly. Taught Karate for many years (hobby) I have two gun dogs (not trained on the gun, just my mates) I'm not looking for a replacement Mum for them, they already have one and she was a Crufts champion but, (there’s always a but!!!) If you can throw a Frisbee in the direction that you aimed, then that would be a HUGE plus point, it wouldn't matter if you fell on the ground in a heap with a fit of the giggles, I'd just pick you up and give you a hug. I cook, clean, IRON (The inside of the microwave is clean too, check yours!) and love nice cars. I have travelled quite a bit of the world (business and holidays), I like being part of a 'handsome couple' be that in a DJ or scruffs walking the dogs. I enjoy a romantic candlelit meal (I'll cook) or hacking out on a Sunday morning followed by a pub lunch. I identify with the TV program ‘River Cottage Forever’ (with skiing of course!) If I met someone it would be good if they shared the same dream as me, that’s buying a cottage in the West Country, chickens, grow your own veg and walks on the beach, is that you?……
Football bores me (Unless England are playing Germany?) and Golf is a waste of a good day, I'd rather be cuddled up with you and a good bottle in front of a packet of 'extra strong mints' (sorry, no log fire!)
I love the smell of new mown grass, clean sheets that were dried on the line and the sound of a skylark as you lay a field in summer. (What happened to buttercups by the way?) Not ashamed to say I like 'holding hands' and telling you the way I feel, I'll cherish you and treat you as a lady but,,, I’m just as likely to rugby tackle you in a cornfield, sorry, but hey, life’s short. I'll make you feel safe and protect you and 'yours' and yes, ok, I'll clothes shop with you (I like clothes) but I'll also tell you the truth (No, of course your bum doesn’t look big in that darling!) Looking for that someone special who appreciates romance and can paint a picture for the future together. I have a blank canvass in front of me, can you paint? My experiences of life have taught me that I cannot change the world but I can change 'yours and mine', if we have that special something. I'm not looking for an email or text relationship, I view this as a 21st Century vehicle for making initial contact but I don’t want to make a career out of it. I also have no interest in playing ‘mind games’, so if that’s your genre?……. please move on. I believe that a profile is an initial attraction; the voice and eyes tell all. I am genuine and sincere in my search and so if you are ‘Scary’, ‘Dodgy’, an ‘Air Head’ or a ‘Barbie’,,,,,,,,,,,,,,please go and talk to Ken. I can't specify what my ideal partner would be like, she will know, and so will I, when we meet.
All I ask is that she has an open heart with space for a new love and not allow the damage of past relationships to compromise the chance of 'something special'. If you are under say 40ish, we would be unlikely to be a match because you may still think that you are immortal
and that 'happiness' will be delivered, bubble wrapped, to your front door, sadly neither are true and I don’t want to be
the one to burst your bubble and tell you there’s no Father Christmas!
