Just logged back onto this site for a long time so thought I'd better update.

Friends would probably describe me as a friendly, optimistic, easy going guy who is also reliable, honest and considerate. I am also young at heart and have a good sense of humour.

I have a variety of interests including films, travel, sport, keeping fit/gym, museums/galleries, eating out, walking in the country (especially if a nice pub at the end of it) socialising with friends and spending time with family. Friends and family are very important to me.

I am fairly independent but have been single far too long and miss having someone special - being there for each other, talk to about our day, putting the world to rights, go travelling with, sharing experiences together and and growing old together.

Ideally we should share some similar interests, but you should also have your own (that maybe you could introduce me to). You should believe that life is for living and have a good sense of humour, enjoys both going out but also the occasional night in and sometimes likes to act their shoe size rather than their age! Somebody who is patient enough for us to get to know each other.

I believe that friendship is the base for any successful relationship, so you should be a best friend as well as a soul mate (if this makes sense?)
