CharlieJuliet (53) from Devon
I am empathetic, adaptable, reliable and tender. Honesty, cuddles and fun are important to me. I seem tall, although I'm not, and I like dressing to suit the occasion, whatever it is.
I'm a qualified further education lecturer: I used to teach computing, but it's changed so much that I just don't want to stay up-to-date, so now I do a lot more numeracy and literacy, mostly one-to-one. My favourite job, before this one, was programming - in COBOL - a language that is not used much nowadays.
In my free time, I love acting and singing: I belong to three theatre groups and to a good choir in North Devon. A long time ago, with a friend of mine, we wrote our own two-person show - "Cocktails and Cabaret" and performed it successfully for quite a few charity events. I'm hoping to revive this soon.
I enjoy going to the theatre, opera and cinema and to concerts. I also love going out for a meal now and then. To keep fit, I go boxing circuit training and to zumba.
I would love to find a pianist with whom I could work up a repertoire of songs from the earlier half of the last century - either classical or not. Since I moved away from London and The Questors in Ealing, I don't get to meet so many piano-players. I also miss the madrigal group I used to lead in London. I would love to find sopranos, altos, tenors and basses to meet regularly with me and my singing friends.
I'd love to find someone to do another two-person show with.
I'm looking for someone to go to concerts with and I also want a companion to dine out with.
About me
I'm 53 years old and come from Devon in the United Kingdom. I'm divorced with two children. I'm 5' 8" tall and of average build. I don't smoke and I like a drink. I'm here for dating and hobbies and interests.

Cooking
|
Yes. I love experimenting - when I have time. There is no style I don't want to try. I do a roast if I don't want to think. I never use ready-made sauces, well hardly ever - and if I do, I'll always add in extra things.

|
Shopping
|
I enjoy shopping, with or without a partner. When I have time, I trawl the charity shops. I hardly ever pay full price for something, but there are two or three things I now regret not having bought.

|
DIY
|
Pretty much a disaster, but in desperate need of someone to help me, now that I've nearly finished splitting my house into three, a project which has taken more than nine years.

Housework
|
Again, I just don't like doing this on my own all the time. Now the children are older, I'm working on them to get them to help. I would so love to have a place for everything and everything in its place, but it seems a bit of a dream at present.

Dining out
|
Yes. I love Eastern and French cuisine best, but variety is good. If I go to an Italian place, I'll avoid the pizza and pasta, usually.

Clubbing

Not really ever. I always love a good dance, though ... heavy rock is great to dance to. As is anything that DOESN'T have a "disco beat"!
