Intelligent, confidant, relaxed, gentle, honest, caring and maybe a bit of a romantic. A man without a lot of hang-ups, I enjoy life and being happy. I like learning new things, being adventuresome and can be sensuous and tactile in the right situation, I'm American but have lived in Bristol for half my life, average build, looking??, no kids.
I'm a good listener but also like talking so a good conversation can be high on my list of likes. I like feeling close to someone, to share feelings and emotions, but also ideas. I'm very informal and feel comfortable mixing with a wide range of people though I tend to be quiet in noisy pub type atmospheres (pubs can be great for a bit, but ... not a whole night).

. So ideally an intelligent, independent minded woman who is at least partly happy with themselves, but one who is sensitive, loving, warm, affectionate, wants hugs, wants to share. I tend to prefer average or slim build, but physical characteristics don't count that high. Someone who shares some interests with me would be great, but that's easy. Maybe its easier to say what puts me off and that is negativity, being down on everything.
