Hi there ..Thanks for stopping by! I am Welsh, born and bred, living in South Wales until I was 11 yrs old. Then onto a new life in USA between 11-18 yrs. From then to now have lived in Wales and England on and off over the years but now have lived in England for more than half my life. My family are all grown up and getting on with their own lives but I do see them quite a bit as family life is an intrinsic part of me.

I have a wicked sense of humour, so I am told and really like nothing better than a good 'belly laugh' for releasing all those feel-good chemicals!

Friendly, intelligent, articulate, warm, loving, a woman of integrity, I do treat people as I would wish myself, family or friends to be treated, with respect and courtesy. We are all beating a different drum, we all have a story to tell, we all came in the same way and we are all going out the same way, so to speak. My ethos of life is of a spiritual nature, but this does not mean I am fanatical about it, far from it; it is a belief system which works for me, but does not exclude anyone else’s beliefs and theories.

I hold an interest in a whole manner of alternative therapies and astrology plus also am interested in the concept of numerology and various other divination tools. Through my work, I hold an interest in psychology and understanding human behaviour.

I have many diverse interests;- listening to music, particularly enjoying live music - concerts and gigs. My taste in music is very eclectic, i.e., blues, pop, easy listening, country and western, folk, rock, classical….ad infinitum...

Additionally, I enjoy the theatre, cinema, genealogy, dancing, cultural events, festivals, craft fairs, car boots (occasionally - not up for getting up too early these days though!!), museums, antique shops, dancing, walking, art galleries, cinema, eating in or out, be it fine dining or occasionally a bit of fast food .. love cooking at home and the opportunity to try out new dishes on family and friends..

I love mooching about old villages and houses, churches and I adore castles and often get a 'sense' of the life therein those stone walls of a life long past, particularly when I visit Raglan Castle and Llanthony Priory which are both in South Wales.

I love the atmosphere of outdoor concerts with a group of friends, the fab music and firework displays, you know the sort of thing, a picnic and not forgetting that bottle of bubbly of course! Travelling and experiencing other cultures is important to me, so I do try and get in a foreign holiday each year, in more recent years, have been to USA a couple of times, the Far East and Tuscany. Provence is on the cards for this year and hopefully lots of weekend breaks in various places, here or on the continent, trips to France for top ups of wine, Calvados, cheese and all those yummy sweet treats. Krakow was on the list January 2006 boy was that cold, it was -24 deg! There are many other places on my TO DO list, far too many to mention here, however.


 

I am looking to make new friends of either gender on here and to keep up with all the great pals I have already met. This is a great site for doing just that! I am seeing someone right now and it seems to be going well, it is very early days but we are enjoying each other's company and having great fun in the process whilst we learn more about each other and that is the name of the game in my book.
