Hi, what am I like, well friends say I have a lovely smile, being so short I need it. I am a widow with 2 married sons & 5 grandchildren.
Recently stopped working & am now one of the ladies who lunch brigade. I swim regularly, read a lot, like quizzes, science fiction films/serials,I am a happy person whether at home or going out, like driving,travelling ( have a son & family in France). My family & friends are very important to me, I would never knowingly let someone down, I am a good friend, very loyal,if I say I will do something you can guarantee it will happen. I would like to think that I am the first person my friends & family think of if they need help/advice or just a chat. I can appear sometimes to be a bit of a child myself, as I seem to enjoy the things my young nieces/nephews and grandchildren enjoy, but I can be serious when the situation demands it. I like the theatre & all types of music,(but don't dance) enjoy diy programmes & grand designs( but can't hang a picture myself), will have an occasional drink (but don't smoke), am quite a tactile person ( but hate being called darling/love) by strangers.

I was married at the age of 16 and lost my husband when I was 50, so have never done the things most young people do, for eg. dating/flirting so I would like to meet some male friends & maybe friendship may lead to something more, I have plenty of female friends/relatives, but miss the company of men.
