My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I love to cook for everybody-from an intimate dinner for two, to christmas dinner for the entire family, with all the trimmings!
Shopping	One of my favourite pastimes-retail therapy all the way!
DIY	Have had to hone my DIY skills over the years, and am now quite accomplished.
Housework	"A place for everything, and everything in its place"
Dining out	I love most foods from all over the world, but am partial to all types of seafood.
Movies	I enjoy most types of films, apart from horror, and I cry at anything vaguely soppy, so get those tissues at the ready!
Theatre	I enjoy going to the theatre, but don't go nearly often enough these days.
Music	My music tastes are extremely varied. I will listen to anything except for classical.
Gigs	Been to see the magnificent Tom Jones a few times, and also ACDC in the past, which was amazing. Love festivals too, mud and all!
Pubs	My favourite tipple is vodka, although I am not averse to the odd pint of lager in the right setting. And let's not forget the Mojitos...
Clubbing	Still love dancing, and am usually the first onto the dancefloor, and the last off when the lights come up.
Newspapers and magazines	Enjoy a good glossy mag when time permits.
Books	One of my favourite pastimes; I will read for hours every night, anything from Martina Cole to Freya North, and with a smattering of Terry Pratchett and Daniel Silva in between.
TV	Am a bit of a fan of the soaps, as well as the gritty dramas such as Silent Witness, CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds etc.
Watching sport	Only sport I watch is the rugby when Wales are playing, and Formula 1, which is my guilty pleasure!
Playing sport	I do not play team sports, but attempt a few circuits at the gym now and then, as well as a it of yoga.
Hobbies	I have recently joined a theatre company, which is something I haven't done since before I had the children. I also love walking my beloved mutt on the dunes, as well as meeting friends for long, languid chats over large cappuccinos.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Healthy, secure, loved and happy.

My ideal date	Something different-a hot air balloon ride to a remote beautiful location where a delicious picnic would be spread out, with something fizzy chilling for after!
What would I never, ever give up?	My children-they are my life, without them I would cease to be.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	At the moment, it would be a subject which has affected our family-eating disorders.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I find myself drawn to New Zealand, and will finally be visiting next year.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Many-eating disorders, aid for Africa, cancer research and many others.
