Hard working professional, great sense of humour (my northern roots no doubt), independent - financially and emotionally. OVer 40 and still single - how did that happen then?

I dont drink but that is my personal choice and I dont get evangelical about it. I dont have any baggage, in fact I dont believe in baggage -you deal with it and then move on.

I need someone to remind me that life is more than just work or crashing out on the sofa. I'm not that hot on clubbing but a nice country pub with a good atmosphere, or a live band would do very nicely. Spend my weekends walking my slightly manic dog(I live in the country, it would be a waste not to), working (I'm trying to stop bringing work home, but old habits die very hard!)or crashing out infront of a good film.

I am looking for someone to eat out with, go to pubs, theatre, cinema and spend some real time with hopefully laughing as we go - and I wouldn't mind the odd cuddle every now and then.
