I am a happy,easy-going and optimistic person. I am enthusiastic about life in general and enjoy being around people who feel the same about their life. We've all had our good and bad times but I don't let things get me down - life's too short. I'd rather have small regrets about things I've done, that haven't turned out as I'd hoped, than big regrets about things I haven't done and wish I had.
I've been married and have children as well as three lovely grandsons and one granddaughter. Most of them are living away from home but some are still at home with me although they are quite old enough to look after themselves now and it they are more like lodgers. I enjoy the buzz of having younger people around.
I'm self-employed, keep busy and have lots of interests like: reading,gardening,walking, days out etc. etc. so I rarely get bored but it is nice to share things with some-one special - anything from cooking a meal or having a walk to seeing a show or going on holiday.
I'm looking to meet new people with similar interests who would like to meet up and maybe through friendship find that special man who feels the same way as me.
