I'm a wonderful specimen of potent masculinity. Admired by men, loved by women, and adored by children and small animals. Masculine in tooth and claw, yet surprisingly tender and sensitive when required. To know me is to love me. I'm a stranger to overstatement, and in my world, arrogance, vanity and self-regard are entirely unknown....

OK, to be serious...I'm a tall [6ft], single, literate, sporty, mixed-race black guy, living in London, but originally from the north. I'm pretty well-built and fit - I'm a bit of gym bunny, in fact - and according to some, I'm not too bad looking.... but take it from me, I'm not going to give George Clooney any sleepless nights. I get my kicks out of the usual stuff - dining out, cinema, reading, music, and suchlike. Pretty easy going on most things, but I really don't like illicit drugs, bad manners, and Westminster Council's predatory traffic policies.

I'm fortunate enough to have a great job - one that's enabled me to travel all over the world. But something's missing: love, kids, the family thing, probably. If you can complete the jigsaw - or you think I might be able to complete yours - I'd be delighted to hear from you.

I suppose my ideal paramour would possess the near-supernatural saintliness and compassion of a Naomi Campbell, combined with the seductive glamour of a Mother Theresa. The warmth and human generosity of a Margaret Thatcher, conjoined with the intellectual capacities of a Cindy Crawford. The fun-loving, carefree nature of a Claire Short, coupled with the wit and insight of a Linda Evangelista.

Ok, I'll stop being silly [again]. Ideally, what I think I'm looking for is an intelligent, attractive, feminine, articulate and tolerant woman - someone with a bit of joi de vivre, who wants to travel, and is interested in the world around us. Oh, and it'd be great if they hadn't entirely ruled out the possibility of maybe - just maybe - having a kid or two one day....
